DuraSeal Single Wall:

Maintain rated clearances to combustibles over the entire length of the vent system.

Effective Length:

When assembling two parts together, the joint will overlap 2-3/8″.
Effective length is normal length minus 2-3/8″.
Vertical Installation Requirements:

The vent system must terminate at least 3 feet above the roof line.
Must be at least 2 feet higher than any portion of the building within 10 feet.
This limitation can be removed if an engineering analysis demonstrates normal and safe operation of the appliance.
If terminated at a height of more than 10 feet, the stack must be supported by a Guy Section.
The vent system must terminate with one of the DuraSeal terminations.
Secure Lock System:

Parts are easily pushed and fastened together instantly and effortlessly.
DuraSeal can be taken apart and easily reassembled for inspection, maintenance, or rerouting.
Additional Requirements:

DuraSeal shall not be routed into, through, or within any vent, such as an existing masonry or factory-built chimney that is connected to another appliance.
Maintain unrestricted vent movement through walls, ceilings, and roof penetrations.
Viton caulking used at the boiler adaptor or an adjustable length requires a cure time of 24 hours.
Multiple Appliances:

More than one Category II, III, or IV appliance may not be connected into the same vent system unless approved by the appliance manufacturer.
The venting system must be free to expand and contract and must be supported following provided instructions.
